Scotland Information


Glasgow is also great base from which to explore and experience the magic of Scotland.  Before or after the conference there are a number of easy trips that you could take.  Here are two suggestions which could be done over a half or whole day.

The West Highland Line. This rail journey starts in Glasgow and takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland.  It usually features near the top of any list of the world’s greatest rail journeys.

Edinburgh. Scotland’s capital city is steeped in history.  A regular rail service runs between Glasgow and Edinburgh and takes around 45 minutes.  Once there you can visit Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, the Royal Yacht Britannia or a host of other attractions.
